Lamin Fatty was again the center of attention as he produced a magical performance in a big stage. The young stars could not protect a 2-0 win in the first twenthy minutes as defensive lapses and a last minute stunner deprived them victory. Talented left winger Lamin Fatty scores a beautiful screamer after dribbling past almost the entire soccer boys defence before unleashing a great effort into the bottom right corner to give Gambinos the lead. Just after ten minutes, he again fires in a quick shot from just outside the area to the delight of Mr. Frankie a football recruit expert from belgium who watches from the stands applauds the brilliance of Lamin Fatty. Gambinos went ahead 2-0.

Soccer Boys FA got a consolation just before half time and a last minute beautiful stunner from 30 yards out brings the game to penalties wich Gambinos lost 4-5. Overall a great tournament for our very young squad who are in a semi final for the first time in history.


Congratulations to the Academy Under-13 squad, who have reached the Semi-Final of the Under-13 WCRFA Easter Tournament. The team earned their place after a 1-1 draw and a 3-2 win on penalties over Kids With Talent FA. The side will wait for the winners from other fixtures when balloting is done tomorrow morning.

Gambinos Academy was among twenthy seven aspiring Academies that took part in the West Coast Regional Football Academy Association (WCRFAA) Easter U9 Championship on Sunday 21st April, 2019 at the FIFA Goal Project in Yundum. Our first participation for the first time in history, Gambinos Academy won two matches and lost one, despite our little experience, the young talents won 2-0 against White Croc FA, 2-0 against the experienced Wanderers FA before they were beaten by Borrowski 2-0. Young Yusupha Days Sarjo got three goals and Ansumana Manneh got the other as we gathered four goals in three matches. Speaking to the website at the event, Gambinos head of recruitment Buba Touray express his delight and spoked about his thoughts on restructuring the Academy and all the Gambinos youth categories. “I’m very much happy about the progress so far, this is a very good platform to develop experience and build on your strength, we had a very good experience today and i’m very happy that all the kids had fun with what they love, we are very much excited and looking forward to some restructuring as next two months is very important for the Club’s aims and objective towards rebuilding and restructuring”

Gambinos wins the 4fc and AST talent tournament.

Gambinos and Jamcity United played out a mouthwatering final at the country’s Fifa Goal Project mini stadium on wednesday as Gambinos emerged winners of another scouting tournament in five months.

Gambinos starts the tournament with a 5-0 thumping of talents from Sukuta Youths Football Academy, before they dramatically edged out Greater Tomorrow 3-2 and a 2-1 final win over an experienced second division bound JamCity United.

Gambinos scored ten goals in three matches more than any other team participated in the tournament, emerged as winners, clinched the best player and the best goalkeeper awards with an outstanding performance from the whole team.

Gambinoss were awared the winners certifate, Gambinos young left wing back Buba Badjie awarded a certifate as the best player after scoring two goals and three assists from defense, and Nfansu Manneh also awarded a certificate after a stunning performance throughout the tournament.

The Gambinos extended our unbeaten record since march under manager Sarr Touray to four games on Friday, with a comfortable 2-1 Third Division league win at KGH. But there’s little time to rest and reflect on that success, as today is all about the build-up to thursday morning’s epic try-out exhibition clash with the mighty Sukuta Youths FA. Gambinos will be training at mandinaring kaburong ground this morning, before they will travel to Yundum Fifa Goal Project thursday morning for a talent scouting program as the league match away to Greater Tomorrow awaits.


Big day of West Coast Regional Championship action for our U-13 team when they take on Universal Fa at their Academy Ground, Gambinos were on tuesday drawn alongside their local neighbours Universal Fa and United World Stars. Gambinos U-9 were also drawn in group A with White Croc FA and Eagles FA. The first time in history for the Gambinos Academy to take part in a national league championship in west coast region.


The Academy will travel to Daranka for the resume of the Inter Academy tournament posponed fixture away to Sutton United FA.

Gambinos Academy wins again

Gambinos crop of young talents easily put three goals past the Daranka Future Academy in their home ground. Two goals by the talented Lamin Fatty and Dawda Manneh show the young stars confortably take control before Daranka got awarded with two controversial penlaties in the dying minutes. The match ended 3-2 in favour of Gambinos who are unbeaten in their last three matches and nine points from the possible nine.

Gambinos stunned KGH and continues a fantastic away form.

Musa Bambo Bojang’s sixth minutes penalty and Sulayman Sidibeh’s thunder strike just before the interval was enough for Gambinos to snatch all three points from the mighty KGH. coming in to this match, Gambinos were just goals away from the Lamin bound neighbours, equal on ten points with only two goals difference, but Gambinos now moved to third on the standings after showing another great quality and performance away from home.

Gambinos dominated the entire ninethy minutes with a commanding beautiful display as spectators got stunned with a beautiful football from young talented kaburong boys. Gambinos brilliance and awareness started from the first minute with chance open chances and a rewarded penalty inside six minutes after the under pressure KGH defender handles the ball inside the area before Gambinos new talisman and former KGH captain Musa Bambo Bojang made no mistake to fire into the right top corner.

KGH started to look dangerouse from the left wing side in their talented Janko Saidy who was a total nightmare for the Gambinos defense throughout the evening, although his brilliance could not stop the confidence, believe, speed, stamina and unity in this Gambinos side. Up for the task, ready and well prepared as a team with so much calm and respect in their game of football.

In the fourthy third minutes Sulayman Sidibeh received a pass from Lamin Sarr, he driblles his way into space just outisde the area from the right hand side and drives in an almighty screamer in the left top corner and give the Gambinos a commanding lead in a difficult ground. That effort really left the whole park speechless, the beautiful inter-changes, team work and the quality before a beautiful, powerful, thunder strike was just unbelievable.

KGH got one back after Janko Saidy was brought down in the area by Sulayman Sidibeh, he made no mistake from the penalty spot. Gambinos responded back with a dangerouse display this time inspired by the hardwork of Hassim, Mustapha Touray’s brilliance and Amadou Palm’s speed wich KGH could not dealt with the entire evening.

A very powerful, concrete performance by the Gambinos team and a well deserved three points to carry home ofcourse inspired by the hardworking master-class tactician manager Sarr Touray.

The result move Gambinos in third with thirtheen points before Greater Tomorrow FC next.

KGH Sports vs Gambinos

Gambinos will meet KGH for the first time as one of the most two decorated sides of the region go head to head in a Busumbala area derby.


GAMBINOS: Gambinos young prospect stopper Nfansu Manneh may earn his first start for the first team this as he is called again with a high posibility that he may start due to his hardwork and dedication recently.
